Where does the time go???

So I know I'm way overdue on posting pictures and updating the blog so I'll wrap up the past few weeks for you now. Noelani had her 9 Month check up on March 3rd and she's weighing in just under 25 lbs (24 lbs 10 oz to be exact) and she is 29 1/2 inches tall. In the 100%...she's gonna be a power forward for sure!! She only had to get 1 shot and she only cried for 8 seconds maybe. She's a tough little lady!

The weekend before we last we went and visited Auntie Teresa (and Uncle Scott and cousin Gabby too). We had a fun time at Aunties and can't wait to see her again soon!
Later on that Saturday afternoon Tamera and Teia came over to our house and we had our first 'Ladies Only Slumber Party'.

The girls had a great time together!! Mommy's had a good time too...thankfully the ladies went down fairly early and Tamera and I got to spend some good quality time together as well. It was a really fun night and we're looking forward to planning another one soon!!

Teia is crawling all over the place and trying to stand up and walk!! I think she's going to be a Track Star!!
We found a great little park just up the hill from us so we've been taking Noelani up to swing when the sun allows us the opportunity. She loves the swing and has the biggest grin on her face like 'Look at Me!!'

Last weekend was Ray's 36th Birthday!! We went out for dinner with his Sister, Christina and her son Jacob. We went to one of Ray's favorite places 'Johnny Woks' - It was excellent Chinese Food!!

Noelani even picked out Daddy's Birthday card!

On Monday my Parents (Grandma & Papa) flew into town for a few days. I took Monday off and Noelani and I headed to Auburn just after they arrived.

It was great to see them again even if only for a few short days.

We had Grandma & Papa over for dinner on Tuesday night and Ray made an excellent Pork Chop feast!! Noelani was sad (and Mommy too) to see them leave again but am now counting the days until they return in just a few short weeks!

A Night of Firsts...

Tonight Noelani scooted and rolled to get where she wanted to go...It's on...Let the baby proofing begin!!! She was so proud of herself for being able to pick up a toy that she wanted all by herself. She also clapped her hands for the first time (and actually knew she was doing it)!! I can't believe she's going to be crawling already...seems like she was just born yesterday.

I'm posting a video that is kind of long so I apologize in advance but it is cute nonetheless.

Noelani and I have been spending the sunny afternoons at the park. She loves to swing and kicks her little legs like crazy. We haven't done the slide yet...we'll have to work up to that. :)

Happy Valentines Day!!

The holidays (doesn't matter which one) are so much more fun when you have a little one!! Noelani got a few books and a little stuffed dog for Valentine's Day...she also got about a million kisses!! Ray sent me the most beautiful bouquet of Tulips and Gerber Daisies on Friday (I'll take a picture and post it here tomorrow as I left them on my desk so they'd bring me more happiness on Monday)...he even had them delivered to the office which just made my day!! As the FedEx man arrived I was sitting with my receptionist and she immediately asked who the lucky lady was....I said whoever it is their Man just got major brownie points in my book! Low and behold when the driver read the name on the card it was ME!! I was shocked and so so happy!!
On Saturday Noelani and I ran a few errands (she went through her first carwash) and then we were invited to Ray's work (Piccolo's) to eat dinner - Since Ray was working he still wanted to be able to cook for me! I had a great dinner and Noelani behaved like a little Angel while we were there. She loved being able to go back next to the Kitchen and watch Daddy tossing pizza dough in the air and cooking!! We all got spoiled on Valentine's Day...it will definitely be one to remember. Noelani got her first pair of sunglasses and I thought how ironic it was that in this picture of her with the sticker still on the lenses that reads "Shatterproof".

Thank you Grandma and Papa for the Valentines Day Cards! We love and miss you and can't wait for you to come home!!!

Noelani loves her toes!!!

So Noelani has finally discovered her toes!! Here are a few pictures of her trying to put her big toe in her mouth!!
She tries so hard to get her foot into her mouth...she's so funny!! She's going to hate me for this video when she's older but I just can't resist posting it!!

I love seeing her personality develop before my eyes!!!

Noelani is 8 Months Old - Already!!

I cannot believe how fast time has flown...Noelani turned 8 months old this past week! We've had a busy few weeks...we had Ray's parents come into town for a visit and as always it was great to see them (I kicked myself all weekend because I forgot the camera every time we saw them). My Mom was also in town for a few weeks so Noelani and I went and visited her for a few hours too...it was the first time Noelani had met her other Grandparents. She's so blessed to have so many wonderful Grandparents that love her!! Below are a few pictures of the visit with my Mom and her husband Lou. Noelani has also started to eat Rice Krispies and Cheerios with her breakfast in the morning. She's got the cheerios down but is still struggling to pick up the Rice Krispies...She cracks me up!!
Noelani love to play with her soccer ball and basketball...below are a few pictures of her playing with the ball. She hasn't started crawling yet but I believe it's just around the corner. Look out world... One of Noe's favorite TV shows is Little Einsteins...she doesn't really watch it but the song that plays at the beginning of the show always gets her excited...she even has her very own Rocket just like in the TV show and as you can see she loves it!! She's actually starting to scoot on it...She's quite strong!! This past weekend Noelani and I went to Bainbridge Island to see Auntie Tamera and the kids and we had a great time. The sun made an appearance so we decided to take the kids out for a stroll through Winslow. It's so much fun to see the girls together...just jabbering away. Noelani kept trying to give Teia hugs and kisses...Teia wasn't having it really but it sure was funny. Teia is crawling all over the place!!! It's so fun to see them becoming best friends! Teia had on Spencer's hat and I thought that was pretty cute so of course here are a few pictures of her!!

Our Little Jumping Bean!

Tonight Noelani figured out how her Jumperoo works...I shot these videos and just had to share them with you. She's getting quite the personality!

The other shots below of Noelani with her onesie on her head and she thought she was pretty funny...she was!! I love to see her sense of humor developing before my eyes. I never knew it would be this fun!!!

More Milestones...

We had a busy weekend as you can see from my previous posting. Noelani loved the pool so much we decided to go back on Sunday for public swim. She mostly enjoyed watching the 100 + kids that were there but none the less enjoyed herself. She's gonna be a little fish! I wasn't able to snap any photos as it was just Noelani and I...Daddy stayed home to watch the football game.

Saturday Noelani started to brush all those teeth she's got...here are some pictures. I help her brush them and then I let her suck and chew on the brush for a few minutes so she feels like 'she's doing it herself'...she's such a big girl!!

Last night Ray started his training at his new job so the ladies were on our own.

Ray took a few pictures of us before he left...

Noe has also started to eat 'Cookies'...they are technically Arrowroot biscuits...but we call them cookies! She loves them and it let's her practice holding things and eating them at the same time...big stuff!! Kea cops a squat wherever Noelani is and prays for something to fall...she's better than a vacuum. :)

I snapped a few pictures of Noelani just before we took a bath...she's gonna hate me for these but I'm posting them anyway. :) I just love her smile and look at all those teeth!!

We moved our living room around a bit so Noelani would have some room to 'move' and it apparently worked because last night she actually scooted...allbeit backwards but she did scoot!! It won't be long before she'll be cruising all over the place...time to babyproof!!!

As you can see by all my posts my new years resolution is to keep our blog updated!! So far so good!!
