She Only Gets Better...

So we've been busy getting to know each other these past few weeks and I really really like her...I think we'll keep her!! Motherhood is better than I imagined it would be. I love every minute spent with her. Today as I write this blog she is 8 weeks (2 MONTHS!!) I can't believe time has flown this fast. Just to catch you up on the past few weeks.
Noelani got to spend her first day at work with Mommy on Friday, July 11th but she didn't really like it that much...I don't blame her...she's a smart girl...work is never fun!! Everyone at work enjoyed seeing her and love watching to see how big she's growing.

Noelani had her first road trip as we drove down to Redmond, Oregon to see Ray's parents on July 11th. The journey is typically a 6.5 hour drive but I believe we made it in just a little over 7. We decided to travel at night as that is when Noelani is sleeping and it would avoid the hot weather down South. Good thing cause it turned out being in the mid 90's the entire time we were there. We had a great time with the parents just kicking back.

We went out for Chinese food one night and they had a BBQ one night and Ray cooked us some steaks. Ray and I were beyond thrilled because we got to eat at our favorite burger joint...SONIC!!! It was as good as I remembered it to be.

On Saturday we drove to Sisters which is about 25 minutes away so Noelani could meet her Cousin Casey. He loved seeing her and I loved seeing him. Casey is doing great!! I managed to snap a picture of us...Noelani was sleeping most of the time so I didn't get many pictures of her. She also got to meet her Auntie Crystal and Cousin Colby. So much family out there to meet...
All in all she was a great road tripper and seemed to enjoy the ride.

After we returned from Oregon the other Grandparents were needing a fix so I headed down with Noelani to Auburn to visit Grandma and Papa.

The next week the Grandparents came up to our place to visit for a few hours...I can't believe they'll be leaving in just a few short weeks...We're bummed but we won't talk about that just yet. We'll enjoy our time together!!!

Today as I mentioned is Noelani's 2 month birthday and we celebrated by having lunch with Grandma at Gilman Village in Issaquah at a great little restaurant called Julia's.

Noelani sat at the table and enjoyed spending some time with Grandma...She kept looking around for Papa but unfortunately Papa is working this week so he couldn't make it.
She's getting so big...I am so lucky to have been able to spend this time with her off from work. I don't know how I'll be able to return to work but it's got to happen. I don't want to think about that just yet...file that away with the Grandparents leaving... :)

A few things she's doing now is she can lift her head and look us in the eyes.

She likes to see herself in the mirror and loves the water and to be in the bath. She can even roll over to the side (both).

I love the way she looks at me and smiles. My favorite time of day is when she first wakes up and she's extra smiley. Everything she does amazes me!!!

I'm an Auntie again!!!

As you've all heard Tamera and I got to experience pregnancy together and she finally had her little lady on Sunday, July 6th at 2:40 PM. The world was blessed with Teia Roza McCoskery!! She weighed 6 lbs 15 ozs and was 19.5 inches long...Noelani couldn't wait for her BFF to arrive and they got to meet when Teia was just 3 days old.
I wish I would have gotten more pictures of Teia but hey I got a baby too...things sure have changed...

I can't believe Noelani has grown so much...it doesn't seem possible that Noelani was that small just a few weeks ago. Anyways I'll keep this update short and sweet like my new Niece, Teia!!!
I can't wait to see her grow up and how she's going to differ from Spencer and be similar to Spencer. I can't wait to see our Minnie Me's follow in our 'Sister' footsteps.
I can't wait until the girls are teenagers and acting exactly like we did when we were teenagers...HOLD ON...I CAN wait...we were terrible!!! :) At least we'll have each other to call when our ladies are giving each other headaches.
I'm so happy I have Tamera in my life and that I have a Sister I can lean on. Being pregnant together was fun...well until that last few weeks but everything else was fun! Let me know when you guys are ready to go for number 3!!

Time Flies...She's Already 1 Month Old

I can't believe how fast time has flown...our little girl is already 1 month old!!
She had her 1 month check up and now weighs a wopping 11 lbs and is 22 inches long...she's all legs.

She can't even fit in her 0-3 month footed pajamas any longer because of her long legs...Thank you Mommy!!

We've been busy taking lots of stroller rides around town and going to visit Grandma and Grandpa down in Auburn or they've been up to our place visiting us...

We've got to get all our time in as they'll be leaving Washington at the end of August. :(

She loves sleeping on Papa's tummy...she's got him wrapped around her pinky already!

Noelani has just begun to make lots of sounds when she see's us and loves to give Daddy a big smile when he comes home from work.

Look at those big baby blues...she makes my heart melt!!

She's such a little lady...

My girlfriend Tamie and her boyfriend Craig and their little girl Hannah came to visit us this week. I can't believe Hannah is already 9 months old...Time flies so fast!! Noelani already has BFF's and she's only 1 month old!!

This past weekend we took Noelani on her first ferry boat ride to Bainbridge Island to see Auntie Tamera and Cousin Spencer.

Noelani loved the ferry and let it be known she wasn't happy when it ended...but all was well as soon as we got to Auntie's where she got lots of love of course.

She is so loved!!!

Here she is with Auntie Teresa...she's got that special touch that Noelani loves.

She's already getting so strong she can lift up her head and look Daddy in the eyes.

Daddy's Little Packer

We all know Daddy loves his Packers so I just had to post some pictures of the littlest Packer Fan ever...

I think she's dreaming that Brett Favre returned to play so she can could catch a glimpse of the best Quarterback that ever played the game.

Noe's First Bath...

Noelani had her first bath and I just had to post some pictures of the big event...truth be known she had a few sponge baths prior to this one but this was her official first bath and she absolutely loved every minute of it.

She truly is the happiest baby I've ever seen!!

I believe Ray snapped about 100 pictures of her bath but I've narrowed it down to a few here for you to enjoy. Some of the pictures will be good blackmail pictures when she gets older...gotta love the naked baby pics!!
