Noelani - 16 Weeks old

So we don't have much new to report on here. Just been busy working and watching our little angel getting bigger every day! It's amazing how fast it goes...We'll be taking her in next week for her 4 month check up. Yes...that means more shots...she gets another 4 vaccines next Thursday. (I'm making sure Ray can be there for moral support for Mommy). Noelani is trying really hard to roll over from her back to tummy. I think she may succeed soon. As you can see here she's also started to suck her thumb...just like her Mommy. :) She is now giving kisses too!! I'm including a video of her giving kisses to her GloWorm. She is so amazing!!
We went to Kennewick last week for my company party and had a great time. Noelani did well on her 2nd road trip. We had a fun time and enjoyed spending some family time together. Ray was a good man (as always) and let me go hang out with my crazy co-workers in the evenings for some fun while he stayed with Noelani. I love him. :) We never left the hotel bar so when Ray texted me to let me know she was up I'd come back to the room to feed her and then head back out for some fun. As you can see she was introduced to her first really big bath tub (the pool)...she didn't like the cold water so we didn't make it very far into the water. She prefers her warm bath. :) Noelani was awesome and loved all the attention she got from her Thrifty Supply family. Everytime we turned around she was being showered with gifts. We even took her to the big banquet dinner on Saturday night and she stole the show. I believe she smiled and laughed for just about everyone. I love my job and everyone I work with and for. It's so nice to have such great support from everyone there. Ray and I have decided already that we'll have to bring a nanny with us next year so we can have some evenings out with everyone together. Anyone interested in the job please let me know! :) I keep forgetting my camera can take video so I'm going to start putting up more videos for you to watch.

Best Friends Forever!!

This past weekend we made a trip over to Bainbridge Island.

Ray helped Scott and Spencer build a treehouse and the ladies did what ladies do and relaxed.

We did manage to squeeze in a photo shoot in the adorable matching dresses that Grandma Barb got the girls. Noelani is 6 weeks older than Teia but she's got about 7 lbs on her...she's gonna be a power forward!! :) We thought we better get them together before Noelani grew out of her dress and Teia was just growing into hers.

Thank you Grandma!!!
On Sunday Cousin Gracie came over to play and we had lots of fun. Gracie loves her little cousin. All day Gracie kept saying, "Her so cute" and "Her smile at me". I must admit it was pretty darn cute how proud she was of her.

We had a fun weekend and here we are again on Monday. We leave for Kennewick on Thursday afternoon around 11:00 AM and then come home on Sunday.

Noelani is starting to roll over now and last night (9/14) was her first night sleeping in her crib...not in our room. She went right to sleep listening to her music. Lately when she's sleeping she's always trying to put her blanket or our pillows over her eyes and block out any light.

We fall in love with her more every day.

Back in the swing of things...

So I'm now on my 3rd week back to work and life seems like it's actually getting back to normal...whatever that is.

Noelani is loving the babysitter's. Ray and I weighed Noe the other day and she's weighing in at 18 lbs now!! Everyday she seems to get a bit bigger than the day before. I guess that's how it works. :)

This past week I believe she fell in love with Daddy. She loves to smile and play the look away game with him. I love the way she looks at him and smiles.

This picture is so sweet...she had a hold of her little monkey and would not let it go...even after she fell sound asleep she still had a death grip on that monkey...

Not much new to report here besides getting ready to head over to Eastern Washington next week for my work party...We're going and brining Noelani with us. My work keeps reminding me that I have to bring her being that without Pasco last year she might not be here right now. :) My President keeps joking with me that he had a part in her being brought into this world...I'm not sure whether it was Pasco or the Patron...or a little of both. Either way I wouldn't change a thing about it. We're so happy to have this little girl in our lives!

3 Months Down...

I can't believe how fast the past 3 months have gone. It seems like we just brought Noe home from the hospital last week. The little lady turned 3 months old on Tuesday! If I had to guess I'd say she weighs somewhere around 16 lbs. I'll have to weigh us and find out.

I returned to work last week and Noelani started childcare. I found a wonderful woman that lives just a few miles from us here in Redmond. Her name is Tonya and she has 3 girls, Ava 6, Emma 4 and Sarah 2. Noelani loves watching the girls and seems to be enjoying her new friends. Fortunately my work is allowing me to work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a few months so we only need care for Noelani 3 days per week. I must admit I shed some tears the first morning I left her at Tonya's but I called a few times and was reasured she was in great hands. When I come to pick her up she has the biggest smile for me as if she's so thankful that I came back to pick her up.

Everywhere she goes she seems to make friends! Last week she even laughed...she's giggled a little once or twice prior to this but she was always sleeping. When I call her Lil Stinker she smiles really big and starts to laugh. Seeing her smile makes all the late nights and the waking up every few hours worth all the hard work.

Even though it's only been 3 months I feel like I can't imagine how I ever existed without her in my life. She truly is a blessing to both Ray and I.

She loves for me to hold and her jump up and down and as of recently is amazingly calmed by my rendition of Itsy Bitsy Spider rolled in with a little Twinkle Twinkle.

I've included some pictures of our most recent trip to Bainbridge Island to see Auntie Tamera and cousins Spencer and Teia.

As you can see we finally got the ladies together for their first of many photo shoots.

I can't wait to see these little girls grow up together!! Good thing they've got Spencer around to protect them and show them the ropes. :)

I can't believe Noelani is only 6 weeks older than Teia. In some of these pictures it looks like she could eat Teia!! I call them my 3 Amigos!!!

My parents are in Chicago today and having a wonderful trip. They are posting pictures and keeping us updated daily. I in turn have printed some pictures and have a picture of Papa and Grandma on my desktop and Noelani loves to look at the picture and smile. She misses them almost as much as I do...Almost! :)

I love this picture that we took the morning we met them for breakfast before they hit the road. She is so lucky to have such awesome Grandparents!!!
