Happy Thanksgiving!

We have not had a very good week at home this past week. Noelani came down with a bad cold this past Saturday and was up most of the night for 3 + nights...then low and behold both Ray and I caught it...let the good times roll. I didn't think it could get worse but it sure did...it's not fun tending to a sick baby when you can't even tend to yourself. Oh the joys of being parents! Everyone kept telling me 'Wait until she gets sick and then you get sick'...I believe it all now.

Thankfully Noelani got some sleep on Wednesday evening so we were able to still head up North to Jamie's house to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. We were doubtful there for a few days but we made it and it was actually nice to get out of the house we'd been in lock down in since Saturday. Jamie cooked the full blown turkey dinner and Ray and I even got to enjoy eating it together (Noelani picked a great time for a nap!). The entire Phelps family was up for the big day as you can see in the picture below. It reminded me of the good ole days when we were 14 only this time around we all have kids!! I can't believe we've known each other now for 20 years now!!! In the picture below are Jim and Heather and Danel with her little girl Taylor and Jamie with her two boys Jack and Jordan and Tamie with her little girl Hannah and of course Noelani and I.

Noelani is on the upswing now but still has a lingering cough. We take her to the doctor on Tuesday for her 6 month check up...I can't believe it's been 6 months since we brought our angel home!

Oh my gosh I can't believe you girls with all your families. I can remember when we went to Chelan and we had that little trailer and we stayed in it. It must have been wall to wall people.

Noelani is so cute with her hat and shirt. Cracks me up!

Happy that things are getting back to normal at your house.

Glad to hear that you all are feeling better! Hopefully we will all be able to stay healthly now through Christmas so that we can all enjoy.

Looks like you had a great Thanksgiving. I'm glad that you got to spend it with friends!
